so I have decided that the story will open with a birth....im assuming it is Enia's but thta is yet to be seen.  Possibly a scientific experiment. I know that someone takes the baby away to do it harm and someone (a nurse?) rescues her (it?) And it is a vampiric child but maybe only half? Im thinking that the mother was injected with the blood of a powerful vamp right after the child was conceived (or was it conceived?) and the mother either dies or is killed right after child birth.  Or the woman herself is a vamp and then killed.

The operating table was coated in blood as were the gloved hands that worked furiousely over the body lying on the table. Suddenly an inhuman scream rang out followed by the wails of a newborn child. "my baby...my baby!" sobbed the woman. "Please just give me my baby!"

and I have no idea what happens next.

*Edit*

Random idea: is this Nikos? Is he like "blade"? All of their strengths none of thier weaknesses? I dunno...maybe not cuz Nikos is OLD!! like 200-300yrs

"He scoffed at the humans that talked of laws about drinking blood. Those who didnt want to believe that their precious vamps were cold blooded killers"

OR...

"Yes there was a law but occasionally it was broken. If the culpert were caught then dire consequences were to be had. But it wasnt often that the culprits were caught..."

So is there a law passed against drinking innocent blood?? Just wrong-doers/criminals no children type thing or no law at all???

I cant decide. Although I do know that at the end of the book Enia herself is turned.

NOTE TO SELF: Read Anne Rice and Amelia Atwater-Rhode for more ideas and research the original dracula...not Braam Stokers version!!

For vampires everything is brighter, clearer, more alive.

The sun wont burn the oldest of vamps...
